You don’t have a choice. Lukasz “Dr. Luke” Gottwald’s fingerprints are going to be all over the airwaves this summer, like it or not.

The candy-pop producer has penned some of the most tenacious earworms of our time (Kelly Clarkson’s “Since U Been Gone,” Katy Perry’s “I Kissed a Girl”), and with summer approaching, he’s adding a couple more to his resume: Perry’s new single “California Gurls” and Ke$ha’s “Your Love is My Drug.”

OWEN’S NOTE: Hey everyone it’s Owen & my thoughts on the topic “Ke$ha or Katy Perry” are that both songs are very strong, but Your Love Is My Drug is honestly more tasteful. Sorry too say Katy, but this summer Ke$ha “will melt your popsicle”!
