	Kesha donates $1000 of dog and cat food to an animal shelter!

Cats and dogs affected by the flooding in Nashville have been helped out by popstar Kesha. Popstar Kesha has donated a thousand pounds of cat and dog food to an animal shelter in her native Nashville. The US city has been hit with floods which have left many furry friends homeless and the Tik Tok singer has done her bit to help out with the disaster relief by loading up a minivan with dog food and driving it to the Nashville Metro Animal Shelter. Speaking to PEOPLEPets.com, the vocalist, who has toured with Calvin Harris in the UK, revealed she found the scale of the damage and the impact it had on four-legged friends in the area hard to come to terms with. “I was wheeling massive amounts of dog food and I was with my mom and we both got a little emotional,” she said. “Sometimes animals get left behind when people are going through tragedy.” Country singer Taylor Swift has also dug deep into her own pocket to help the flood relief effort, pledging $500,000 (£339,000) to help a number of organisations tackle the disaster. 	Kesha nursing a broken heart :(

Party-loving pop star Kesha has moved back in with her mom in Tennessee to recover from a broken heart. The “TiK ToK” singer’s career has really taken off in recent months, but it cost her a romance with a guy who turned out to be no good. Kesha tells Rolling Stone magazine, “My last boyfriend smashed my heart into a million billion pieces.” And she admits her next partner will have to be extra special: “I’ve had no father figure, and I had finally trusted a man.
